Ever feel like you’re living the same day over and over? We brush our teeth the same way every morning, sleep on the same side of the bed, and take the same route home from work or school. It’s no wonder we feel stuck. Here are five suggestions to help you start making positive changes in your life—with your job, relationship, family, and just life in general. It’s time to start a new day. — Rebecca Bogle

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT. Try doing something you wouldn’t normally do—push the limits of your comfort zone. Visit a museum or art gallery by yourself. Ride a bike to an unknown destination, wear different style clothes, or try a new food. For more ideas, check out inspiring books by Sark or The Artist’s Way, by Julia Cameron.
SHAKE THAT BODY. Discover new ways to move by taking a Feldenkrais or improvisational dance class or simply change hands when you brush your teeth. Because mind, body, and spirit are connected, changes to your physical patterns stimulate not only the physical side but also the mental and spiritual sides of yourself.
TAKE THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED. Literally. On your way home tonight try taking a different route. Wander a few extra blocks in a new direction or veer off the highway and take side roads. It’s amazing all the wonderful things you’ll see on your new path.
MOVE YOUR STUFF (with FENG SHUI). Take inventory of your surroundings at work and at home and make changes to optimize for better health, prosperity, love life, and family based on feng shui. Cleaning out closets and getting rid of old junk help make room for the new. Balance and harmony in one's external environment promote balance and harmony within
GIVE YOURSELF A NUDGE. If you need a little encour-
agement and direction in your quest for change, accelerate your progress with the assistance of a life coach. Personal coaches can help you create a stronger vision of what you want in life (like money, health, or relationships) and help you define and reach your goals.
